Upcoming library events at Atlantic City Free Public Library
  • Pre-School Rhyme Time
    When: Thursday, April 24, 2014 - 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    Features stories, songs, fingerplays, and simple crafts for ages 3-5, accompanied by an adult. Family and siblings are welcome. Library story times are a fun way to help your child develop skills they will need to be ready to read.
  • Baby Bounce and Play Group
    When: Thursday, April 24, 2014 - 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    This program is designed to introduce infants and toddlers (ages 0-24 months) to the world of sounds and stories. Stories, songs, rhymes, and movement help build pre-reading skills for our littlest library lovers. An informal playgroup immediately follows this storytime. Best suited for infants and toddlers to age 2 with caregiver.
  • Comic Drawing
    When: Thursday, April 24, 2014 - 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    Marvel and DC comic illustrator Joe Del Beato will lead drawing instruction for children and teens age 7-17. Learn how to draw your favorite characters. All materials supplied. No experience necessary.
  • Tween Days in the Teen Lounge
    When: Saturday, April 26, 2014 - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
    Where: Teen Zone (2nd Floor - Main Library)

    Kids aged 9-12 are invited to rock out in the Teen Space. This is your chance to enjoy gaming: Xbox360, PS3, Nintendo Wii. Participants need a library card in good standing.
  • LEGO Club
    When: Saturday, April 26, 2014 - 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

    Use our LEGOs and your imagination to create something spectacular.
