  • SUPER SMASH BROS U SUMMER TOURNAMENT

    Teens vs. New Adults! Join us for a tournament featuring the new Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U! Sign up to be on the tournament bracket, or be a spectator and cheer on your friends.   • Silent Library Challenge

    Ever seen MTV's show silent library? It challenges teams to perform ridiculous tasks, all while staying absolutely silent.
  • Comics Workshops
    When: Monday, July 10, 2017 - 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    The ECBACC’s STARS (Storytelling That Advances Reading Skills) workshop is designed to use comic book art and imagery as a vehicle to foster creativity and promote literacy, with a secondary focus on introducing participants to the various career options that exist within the comic book industry. Participants will create their own heros and characters. Ages 9 to 12.
  • Superhero - Heroine Creation
    When: Monday, July 10, 2017 - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    Where: Main Library -- Second Floor Meeting Room

    Superhero/Superheroine Creation
    Participants will explore the range of uses for ancient mythology, neo-mythology and related media to create their own unique and innovative characters. At the end of this workshop participants will have designed, created and advanced their own characters and storylines.
