Library Events

"Club Harlem Exhibit Grand Opening"  Monday February 1, 6pm.
The exhibit "A Pictorial of Club Harlem and the Way We Were" will be on display in the Main Library meeting room all of February.

"Words, Beats, and Life"  Wednesday, February 10 and 17 at 6:30 pm
Atlantic City Weekly's Raymond Tyler will direct this hip hop writing workshop.  Tyler will bring in old school and current hip hop music, magazines and graffiti examples.  He will also discuss hip hop's impact.

"African American Comic Book Characters" Wednesdays in February 3:30 pm
Joe Del Beato will lead these comic book drawing lessons every Wednesday for youth ages 8 to 16.  The group will draw African American characters that have been featured in comics, cartoons and graphic novels.
