People taking an evening stroll on the old wooden way this summer will have no problem finding top-notch entertainment.
The City of Atlantic City has planned a busy schedule of music and
entertainment for Kennedy Plaza, located across from historic Boardwalk
Hall, this summer.
The Atlantic City Free Public Library will be playing a role in the
city's efforts by presenting weekly International Night performances on
Wednesday nights and biweekly concerts on Tuesday nights.
The International Night performances, which will showcase the native
music and dance of other countries, will be held 7-9 p.m. at Kennedy
Plaza - located across from Boardwalk Hall - beginning on Wednesday,
July 9, and running through Wednesday, Aug. 27. The shows are free.
The schedule includes a special twin bill on Aug. 20. Polynesian group
Island Jam, along with its fire and hula dancers, will perform a
two-hour show beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m., immediately
following the Atlantic City Airshow "Thunder Over the Boardwalk." The
