Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at library

 

Hispanic Heritage MonthAmericans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15-Oct. 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. KIDS COMIC DRAWING
Thursdays
September/October

Instructor Joe Del Beato will teach  how to draw Hispanic characters that have been featured in comics and cartoons. This program is open to youths ages 9-17.

CHILDREN’S BOOK CLUB
Every other Saturday @ 3:00 pm
(9/13, 9/27 & 10/11, 10/25)
Children read and keep a book
related to Hispanic Heritage Month and make a craft.

CREATIVE CRAFT TUESDAY
(9/16 & 9/30) @ 3:30 pm
Kids ages 6-12 will use their
imaginations to make take home crafts related to Hispanic
Heritage Month.

FUN DAY SUNDAY
(9/21 & 9/28) @ 2:00 pm
Families are invited to make a
special craft related to Hispanic
Heritage Month.
