Miss America exhibit now on display

Miss America Parade photoThe Atlantic City Free Public Library is paying tribute to Miss America’s return to Atlantic City with a special exhibit. The library unveiled “Here She Is, Atlantic City: Miss America!” this month. The exhibit is located on the first floor of the Main Library.
The exhibit features a robe, on loan from The Miss America Organization, which was worn by Miss America 1974 Rebecca King. It also includes historic photographs, a video slideshow detailing the pageant’s history and a display case showcasing Miss America-related toys, trophies and trinkets – including items on loan from Vicki Gold Levi. Photos of contestants competing in this weekend’s Miss America Pageant are being shown as a slideshow presentation in the library atrium.
